Use BatchEdits from OpenClaw to edit videos: add captions, remove silences or apply your saved editing styles, then check status and get download links. Use this skill when the user asks to edit, caption or process videos with BatchEdits. Every tool only works inside the user's own BatchEdits workspace, and no tool deletes anything.
bash
export BATCHEDITS_API_KEY="your_api_key_here"
openclaw config set mcp.servers.batchedits '{"type": "http", "url": "https://batchedits.com/api/mcp"}'
The key is sent in the x-api-key header. Full setup guide: https://batchedits.com/mcp/docs
upload_videos: opens the BatchEdits uploader and returns a link the user opens to upload filesopen_editor: opens the BatchEdits editor on existing videoslist_videos: lists videos newest first with their statusget_styles: lists saved editing styleslist_actions: lists the editing actions a style can usecreate_style: creates a style from actionsedit_style: renames or re-describes a styleprocess_video: queues a video for processing with a style (uses one video credit)download_video / download_videos: temporary download links for completed videosupload_videos and give the user the returned link so they can upload the file themselves. Then call list_videos to find the new video's ID.get_styles to look for a matching style. If none fits, call list_actions and create_style.process_video, because processing uses a video credit.process_video with the videoId and styleId. It reports the video as queued, which does not mean it's finished.list_videos to check the status. Only describe the video as ready once its status is completed. If it's failed, report the failure.download_video and share the link.
