Sales Outreach Skill#

Purpose#

Create highly personalized, effective sales outreach messages that get responses.

Key Principles#

1. Personalization — Reference something specific about the prospect
2. Value-first — Lead with value, not your product
3. Short — Under 100 words for cold outreach
4. One CTA — Single, clear next step
5. Follow-up — 80% of sales happen after 5+ follow-ups

Cold Email Template#

text

Subject: [Specific observation about their company]

Hi [Name],

[Personalized opening — reference something specific]

[One sentence about the problem you solve]

[Social proof — brief result for similar company]

[Single CTA — low commitment]

Follow-up Sequence#

1. Day 0: Initial outreach
2. Day 2: Add value (share relevant content)
3. Day 5: Different angle (new case study or insight)
4. Day 8: Break-up email ("Should I close your file?")
5. Day 14: Final follow-up (new development or offer)
