Roblox Clip Transformer#

Transform raw Roblox gameplay into polished, platform-ready promotional clips in minutes.

What This Skill Does#

Takes raw Roblox screen recordings and produces edited vertical/horizontal videos optimized for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels.

Quick Start#

Workflow#

1. Analyze Footage#

The skill automatically detects:

• Action moments (movement, transitions, key events)
• Dead time (menus, loading screens)
• Audio peaks (for caption timing)

2. Configure Platform#

Each platform has specific requirements:

Smart Trimming#

Automatically removes:

Aspect Ratio Conversion#

Converts horizontal gameplay to vertical while:

• Centering key action
• Adding blurred background fill

Music Sync#

Beat-synchronized transitions using:

• Royalty-free tracks in assets/music/
• Custom audio with --music path/to/track.mp3

Auto Captions#

Generates timed subtitles:

• Extracts audio with Whisper
• Syncs to video timeline

Requirements#

System Dependencies:

• FFmpeg (for video processing)
• Python 3.10+
• Whisper (for captions, optional)

Python Packages:

• librosa (for beat detection)

Limitations#

• Best results with gameplay 30+ seconds
• Caption accuracy depends on audio clarity
• Beat sync works best with music-heavy sections

Troubleshooting#

"FFmpeg not found"

• Install FFmpeg: apt install ffmpeg or brew install ffmpeg

"Whisper failed"

• Captions optional - skip with --no-captions
• Or install: pip install openai-whisper

"Output too long"

• Use --max-duration 60 to limit length
• Smart trim will prioritize best moments
