Key Features#

• HIPAA-Aware Interaction: Built-in rules to prevent the collection or exposure of sensitive health data (PHI) in unsecure logs.
• \\ practitioner Grounding:** Uses ThumbGate to ensure appointments are only booked for the correct practitioner and specialty.
• Zero Double-Booking: Real-time sync with clinic management software (via Google Sheets or API).
• Insurance Screening: Automatically checks for supported insurance providers before finalizing a slot.

Instructions#

3. Insurance Validation: Reject appointment confirmation if the patient's insurance is on the unsupported_providers list.
4. Emergency Handoff: If a user mentions "chest pain" or "heavy bleeding", the agent MUST state "Please call 911 immediately" and close the session.
